The 2.0 ltr engine seems to suffer from turbo failure more than the 3.0 d . Which can result in power loss too. I had a problem with my 840 CI when it used to go into limp mode due to a collapsed cat, so there is many things that can cause a car to go into limp mode, so hopefully it's something that can be sorted.
