61. Car. W211 280 CDi -OM642- Engine. Hi, I just changed the engine oil on my W211 OM642. On re filling it took over 9 litres ( around 9.1/4) , I believed this engine held 8.5 L. I checked for leaks and its all dry as a bone , the dipstick oil is correctly right up to, and below the MAX mark.
