I just found out about the Ultimate way to play ATS and ETS2 For Realism. I have been playing this game for a long time, I have explored all areas / dlcs multiple times using the default sitting position and default FOV in game. I know I might be 8 years late to realize this but changing your FOV to a range of 45-55 completely changes the game

It basically controls the bloom of your lights on your truck. I'm honestly not sure why it causes my game to lag a lot but it does.
